Dear poets,

When someone whose artistic skill is not in poetry writes you a love poem, pay attention.  Read it.  Savor it.  Cherish the fact that person loves you so much, they are willing to walk the wire to show much they love you.  Look at that person in awe and amazement.  Write a love poem back, one that person truly deserves.

I'm next to the author of that love poem. I was the subject of that love poem. I'm still floored by this fact and by her.

52/250 A Year Of Flash has one of my stories up, “Masonry”, which you can check out here and then check out the rest of the flash up there.

Ampersand Books is having one hell of a sale for Dodging Traffic as long as you purchased a copy of The Serial Rapist Sitting Behind You is a Robot.

Today at two pm at the Orlando Public Library, Laura van den Berg reads as part of their second Saturday reading series.  You can check out more about the reading here.

I think I have enough work to put together my We Will Live Like Our Ghosts Will Live project, which will be a hybrid of poetry, fiction, and flash fiction telling the story of a marriage and man coming apart and how he puts himself back together.  Not sure if anything like this has been done but I know I’ll be proud of the project once it’s done.
